The long journey which culminated in this exciting and innovative platform, findagreattherapist.com, actually began over fifty years ago, when a young woman named Rosemary Allison, (later, Rosemary Santos) awoke one morning in Ramsey, Isle of Man (UK), and committed to spending her life helping others.

Rosemary embarked on a career in heath care, firstly in nursing in England, then later in Australia, where she now lives.

After 20 years, Rosemary transitioned from nursing into more exclusive therapies including Remedial Massage Therapy and Shiatsu, then went on to graduate with a diploma in Neuromuscular Therapy.

Rosemary built a very successful practice in these modalities, but over time, became more acutely aware that people's health was not just about physical ailments, but was also profoundly affected by psychological and emotional issues.

Rosemary went on to achieve diplomas in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Stress Management, Counselling and Child Development.

Armed with her vast knowledge and experience, Rosemary established her very successful practice as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Counsellor.

During this time, Rosemary married, and her husband, Douglas (Brian) Hamilton, who also held diplomas in both Remedial Therapy and Multimedia, eventually became Rosemary's business manager, as well as the sound producer of her subsequent collection of Hypnotherapy Audio titles, (which are all now available right here on this website).

It so happened that in 2023, while on holiday with her husband in Thailand, Rosemary was diagnosed with a serious cancer, and on returning to Australia, found herself unable to continue in-person Hypnotherapy sessions.

However, Rosemary's impeccable repuation and her many followers meant there was still an opportunity to continue providing help to people in need through her audio recordings, (and more recently, her e-books) which had already become very popular amongst her followers.

So it was decided that Rosemary would offer her recordings and e-books through a website, but, on its own, it wasn't enough!

Rosemary is fully aware that many people need help outside of just Hypnotherapy and Counselling, and of course, that many people prefer in-person or even video consultations with their chosen therapist.

So it was further decided to extend an invitation to therapists from all fields to join Rosemary in her desire to provide solutions to people's life's issues, regardless of where they are in the world.

So, findagreattherapist.com was established to meet these objectives.

This comprehensive platform offers a convenient way for therapist in all allied health fields to connect with patients/clients anywhere and anytime, either in-person, by video, or by offering downloadable audio products and e-books to those who visit our site.
